As Assistant University Secretary, Laura provides meeting support to Board committees, task forces, and the full board. She contributes to agenda development, assists with materials distribution, and ensures the continuity of university governance. She works closely with senior administrators, serves as a concierge to Trustees, and handles a variety of Board communications.
Prior to joining the Board office in 2023, Laura worked as the Assistant to the Chair of Mechanical Engineering in the McKelvey School of Engineering for 11 years. She began her career at WashU in the Dean of Arts & Sciences office in 2008.
Laura earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Southwest Baptist University.
